Founded in 1882 in Providence, Rhode Island, NAPE is the Oldest Engineering Society of its kind in the United States. NAPE, Baltimore #1 is the newest and now the fastest growing Chapter in the Country. We offer Classes in Boiler Operation, Air Compressors, Refrigeration, Basic Electricity, Electrical Maintenance, Electric Motor Repair and many others. In addition to our own classes we are a member the National Association of Power Engineers Education Foundation (NAPEEF), and therefore interface with other chapters to provide an even greater educational experience.In addition to our classes we hold monthly meetings for our membership and provide a free seminar also with this monthly meeting. The educational meeting topics will include subjects such as Safety, Boiler Operation, Cooling Tower Operation, Air Compressors, Control Devices, etc. We also have a monthly newsletter both in “hard copy” and on line at this site to keep our members abreast of our activities.
